Case Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Case Manager to serve as a key liaison between legal teams and medical experts. In this role, you will coordinate medical-legal services, manage case details, and ensure timely communication and documentation throughout the lifecycle of each case.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for medical experts on assigned cases
  • Coordinate scheduling for calls, evaluations, depositions, and testimony
  • Track case deadlines and ensure timely completion of all deliverables
  • Distribute and manage incoming medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Perform quality checks on records (e.g., file integrity, accessibility, and completeness)
  • Maintain and update case information within the TxMLC tracking system
  • Manage expert time tracking and assist with billing submissions
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and healthcare professionals via phone and email

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with medical experts in a legal or paralegal capacity
  • Associate degree or higher
